Business Development Partner

Flexible Commission-Based Opportunity


Eden Facilities & Property Management LTD is looking for a motivated and well-connected Business Development Partner to help us secure new contracts, tenders and commercial opportunities across the South West and beyond.


We are a growing construction, facilities management and waste management company working across a wide range of sectors, including private clients, commercial properties, hospitality, housing associations, local authorities and public-sector organisations. We have previous experience working with organisations including the NHS, local councils and housing associations, and we are now looking to expand this side of the business further.


This is a flexible commission-based role and does not come with a set salary. The opportunity is therefore best suited to someone looking for a secondary income stream, with the flexibility to work around their existing commitments.


The more effort, energy and time put into the role, the greater the earning potential. For the right person, this opportunity could also lead to a more permanent contract or formal arrangement being put in place as the role develops.


The Role


The successful person will help identify, approach and secure new business opportunities for Eden, including:


•⁠  ⁠Construction and refurbishment contracts

•⁠  ⁠Facilities management opportunities

•⁠  ⁠Property maintenance contracts

•⁠  ⁠Waste management and clearance contracts

•⁠  ⁠Public-sector and local authority tenders

•⁠  ⁠Housing association work

•⁠  ⁠NHS, care, education and commercial property opportunities

•⁠  ⁠Hotel, hospitality and estate maintenance contracts

•⁠  ⁠Commercial strip-outs, dilapidations and make-good works


You will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, introducing opportunities and supporting the process of securing new contracts for the company.


What We’re Looking For


We are looking for someone who is confident, professional and commercially minded, with the ability to represent Eden to new clients and organisations.


Ideally, you will have experience or contacts within one or more of the following areas:


•⁠  ⁠Construction

•⁠  ⁠Facilities management

•⁠  ⁠Property maintenance

•⁠  ⁠Waste management

•⁠  ⁠Local authorities

•⁠  ⁠Housing associations

•⁠  ⁠NHS or healthcare estates

•⁠  ⁠Commercial property

•⁠  ⁠Tendering and procurement

•⁠  ⁠Estate agency, lettings or property management


Tender experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential if you have strong business development skills, good contacts, or the ability to create new opportunities.


Earnings & Commission


This is a performance-based opportunity, with earnings linked to the profit margin of contracts successfully secured.


Commission will be agreed based on the size, value and profitability of each contract. The higher the quality of the opportunity secured, the greater the earning potential.


Commission is payable on contracts that are successfully secured, signed, paid and completed, and will be calculated against the agreed net profit margin after direct project costs have been deducted.


This role offers flexibility, but also real earning potential for someone proactive, driven and able to open the right doors.
